Frequently Asked Questions

1.What is the gold recovery rate for low-grade gold ore processing?

For low-grade gold ore (1–3 g/t), our gravity separation + cyanidation process can achieve a gold recovery rate of 85%–92%, depending on ore composition such as sulfur content.

2.Can a rotary kiln be used for spodumene (lithium) conversion? What is the temperature accuracy?

Yes. Our high-temperature rotary kiln is designed for α→β spodumene transformation, operating at 1100°C ±10°C with a multi-zone control system, achieving a conversion rate above 96%.

3.What equipment is required for copper ore beneficiation, and what is the investment for a 500 TPD plant?

Key equipment includes jaw crusher, ball mill, flotation cells, and thickeners. A 500 TPD copper plant costs approximately USD 2–3 million (excluding civil works), depending on ore characteristics.

4.How much can iron ore grade be improved after magnetic separation? What about energy consumption?

With high-gradient magnetic separation and reverse flotation, iron grade can reach 65%–68%. Energy consumption is about 18–22 kWh per ton, and waste heat recovery systems can reduce energy use.

5.Rotary kiln or shaft kiln for zinc oxide ore calcination? What is the recovery rate?

A rotary kiln is preferred due to better temperature uniformity. Zinc recovery can reach 88%–92%, with residue zinc content below 2%.

6.How fine can your grinding equipment produce? Is it suitable for graphite anode materials?

Our vertical mill can reach up to 2500 mesh (D97). It is suitable for spherical graphite processing with ≥0.9 sphericity and ≥1.1 g/cm³ tap density, meeting battery-grade requirements.

7.What environmental measures are used in silver cyanide leaching plants?

We provide closed leaching systems, online cyanide monitoring (0.1 ppm accuracy), and tailings detoxification to ensure compliance with hazardous waste standards (GB 18598).

8.What is the fuel consumption of an alumina bauxite rotary kiln, and what size is needed for 2000 TPD?

Fuel consumption is about 75–85 m³ of natural gas per ton. A Φ4.8×74m rotary kiln with a six-stage preheater is recommended for 2000 TPD capacity.
